Crystal Chin is one of the guest teachers and teaches ballet and ballroom dancing at Michelle Langley Dance Studio.
Her dance training began at a young age with ballet and continued into ballroom dancing, culminating as a featured dancer in the U.S.O. tour to Asia and the Pacific Rim.
She has been teaching for a number of years in both the San Fernando Valley and South Bay areas along with competing in the Championship Division of ballroom dance competitions across the United States in California, Nevada and Utah in such competitions as the Embassy Ball Dancesport, California Open Dancesport and Desert Classic Dancesport.
Her own ballroom dance training has been extensive, training with such notable teachers as Richard Porter from England and Shirley Ballas who along with her partner Corky Ballas train "Dancing with the Stars" dancers Derek and Julianne Hough. She has also trained locally with Thomas and Izabela Lewandowski who originate from Poland and compete nationally.
Crystal has a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California (U.S.C) and teaches dance and movement to school children locally.
Crystal's ballroom classes feature steps and techniques that will allow both beginner and advanced students of all ages to enjoy the art of ballroom dancing.
